Born on April 11, 1827, in Maharashtra, Mahatma Phule devoted his life to challenging societal norms and striving for the upliftment of the oppressed. Mahatma Phule was a visionary thinker who dared to challenge the prevailing caste system and advocated for the rights of the marginalized communities, particularly the lower castes and women.
